What’s the Most Weight the Jeep Wrangler Can Tow?
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is able to tow up to 3,500 lbs. when properly equipped. That maximum capacity applies to Wrangler Unlimited (4-door) models that are equipped with the Trailer-Tow Group. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 2-door models are able to tow up to 2,000 lbs. with the Trailer-Tow Group. Both the 2-doorand 4-door Jeep Wrangler can be customized with a great selection of trim levels and engines, but additional changes to configuration outside of the “Wrangler vs Wrangler Unlimited” debacle won’t affect your SUV’s maximum towing potential.

The optional Trailer-Tow Group package is available on all trim levels and includes a Class II hitch receiver, four-pin and seven-pin adapter, 240-amp alternator, 700-amp battery, and auxiliary switches.

How Much Can the All-New Jeep® Wrangler 4xe Tow?
New this year, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe pairs twin electric motors with a turbocharged 2.0-liter gas engine for a combined 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Though these are the best ratings of any Wrangler in the lineup, the towing capacity remains the same as the original Wrangler Unlimited with a maximum tow rating of up to 3,500 lbs. The system does boast about 400 miles of hybrid range, so you can still expect to get more miles in between fill-ups.
