How to Pair Your Smartphone to Uconnect® via Bluetooth
When you pair your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone with Uconnect®, you’ll enjoy hands-free access to important smartphone applications. The esteemed Uconnect® voice-recognition system unlocks endless possibilities, giving you the power to make and receive calls, respond to text messages, stream your favorite playlist or podcasts and much more – all without ever taking your eyes off the road. This article will explain step-by-step how to pair your smartphone to Uconnect® wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Uconnect® Bluetooth Phone Pairing Instructions
Syncing to your car to your smartphone with Bluetooth is easier than you might expect. Please note that for safety purposes Uconnect® will only allow Bluetooth pairing while your vehicle is in park. You can follow the pairing instructions below to get connected.

Tap the phone icon along the lower edge of your Uconnect® touchscreen.
A prompt will appear asking if you would like to pair a phone. Tap “YES.”
Enable Bluetooth in your smartphone settings and tap “Uconnect” in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
A prompt will appear on your smartphone asking if you would like to grant Uconnect® access. Check that the PIN provided on the Uconnect® display matches the number shown on your phone and tap “Pair.”
Tap “Accept” on the Uconnect® display to start the Bluetooth pairing process.
After following these steps, your smartphone should be successfully paired with your Uconnect® infotainment system.
