Steps for Resetting Engine Oil Life Percentage
Without pressing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE START/STOP button and place the ignition in the ON/RUN position.
Use the steering wheel controls to scroll downward until you reach the “Vehicle Info.”
Use the right arrow button to find the ”Oil Life” submenu screen.
Push and hold the OK button to reset oil life. The gauge and numeric display should update to show 100%.

Fully press the accelerator pedal, slowly, three times within 10 seconds.

More About the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant
Located in a suburb north of Detroit, the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant was built in 1953 and operated by the United States military for producing jet engines and ballistic missles. The 286-acre facility was later converted to an automobile plant and purchased by Chrysler Corporation in 1983. Since it has been the birthplace of numerous Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge vehicles. As of 2018, the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant is responsible for manufacturing the modern lineup of Ram 1500 full-size pickup trucks.

The state-of-the-art facility has more than 7,000 employees and serves as a model of sustainability among modern automobile manufacturing plants. Instructions for Replacing a Dead Ram Key Fob Battery
No battery lasts forever, and that means your truck’s key fob is going to need some upkeep from time to time. On the bright side, replacing your Ram’s key fob battery is easier than you might think. This guide covers how to change the battery in Ram key fobs so you can get back to using your vehicle at its full potential.

The video guide provided is intended specifically for 2021 Ram 1500 models, but this same procedure applies to most 2021 model-year Ram trucks. Before getting started, you’ll need (1) a small flat-blade screwdriver and (2) a CR2450 3-volt battery.

Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide
Press and hold the mechanical release button on the side of the fob and remove the emergency key.
There should be a gap located on each side of the emergency key slot. Using your flat-blade screwdriver, carefully pry the cover until slightly open. From there you can use your fingers to separate the case completely.
Use the screwdriver to pry out the old battery, then insert a new battery with the positive pole facing up.
Place the lid back into position and snap shut.

Where Are Adjustable Pedal Controls Located?
To adjust the pedals, you’ll want to begin by locating the adjustable pedal switch, which can be found on the instrument panel to the left of your steering wheel and below the headlight switch. On older models, the adjustable pedal switch may be directly attached to the left side of the steering column. Pressing the UP arrow button will cause the pedals to move upward and closer to you. Pressing the DOWN arrow button will cause the pedals to move down and further from you.

If you own a truck that is also equipped with the Driver Memory feature, know that you can also program a desired pedal position into your seat memory settings. You can find more information on the Adjustable Pedals feature when you refer to your truck’s Owner’s Manual.
